From our family to your table – all about us

We are a more than your average farm shop – farming is in our DNA. William Gilder and his family has worked the farmland across the local area for decades, rearing and transporting livestock. This continues to this day, with meat from our farms in Knightwick, Worcestershire, and Gretton Fields near Cheltenham both served at our butchery counter.

This in-depth knowledge of farming is evident in the products we sell and the service we provide. Whether it is the cuts of our meats, the bread made from local flours produced by mills dotted across the Cotswolds, or in our locally-made jams and chutneys, we aim to be a champion of fresh, quality food.

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the delights of a traditional farmer’s market without having to brave the elements or travel far from their home. At Teddy’s we bring all the components for hearty homecooked meals under one roof, along with extra treats and artisan creations that showcase the best of our region.

The Pantry

The Pantry is full of tasty treats! We consider it to be the hallmark of Cotswolds and Three Counties quality food and drink. We believe that local, traditionally made food tastes better, is better for us, our environment, and supports our local rural economy. We have a super range of fresh and frozen produce, plus sauces, jams, pickles and other condiments – everything you could need for a truly delicious meal. The Butchery

Our traditional butchery prides itself on selling top quality meat from our very own local free-range herds, in the belief that the best produce is a direct result of having the best breeds, reared properly, and with proper preparation. Our dry-agers are the jewel in our crown – learn more about them and why they are used for getting the most flavour here.

Wine Cellar

If you are looking for a quality wine retailer with a selection that will both delight and intrigue you, a visit to Teddington’s is a must. From our selection of wines from smaller vineyards to local craft spirits and ales, we have them all. Take a look at some of the varieties you can discover here.

Local Spirits & Craft Gins

The Cotswolds and the Three Counties is lucky to be the home of a number of craft distillers and we stock a great range of these delicious spirits including local vodkas! We also have all you need to make a great cocktail, with a range of artisan mixers. Rum and whisky has also seen a rise in quality producers – we stock these too! Cafe and Kitchen

Our cosy cafe, described as a hidden gem, is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat before carrying on to the M5 or the surrounding towns like Tewkesbury and Cheltenham, or the Cotswolds. Enjoy a light lunch or a sandwich, with a beautiful homemade cake for afterwards and not forgetting, a good cuppa. We also stock a wide range of teas, coffees, and hot chocolates in store, so you can have the perfect brew at home.

Artisan and Gifting

We’re proud to stock the work of the talented creators that call the Cotswolds their home. From candles to skincare, cards to ornaments, and even knitted products, the perfect gift could be right on your doorstep. We can also bring items together in a bespoke hamper, for that extra special present. We also have weekly deliveries of quality flowers for a gorgeous bouquet, and stunning handmade pots to keep them in.
